2015 Red Nose Day Support
Crystal Legal Services is proud to announce its support for Red Nose Day 2015. On Friday 13th March, 60 members of staff volunteered to receive donation calls. Employees here raised over £1,900 internally through fundraising activities such as fancy dress, bake sales, tuck shops, sponsored head shaving, leg waxing, an in-house bike ride, raffles, challenges, games and so much more.
Red Nose Day comes along every two years and combines two very British things: having a laugh and helping others. Thanks to the generosity of the great British public, Comic Relief has raised over £1 billion which has gone towards changing the lives of people in the UK and across Africa.
This is the third year in a row that the Crystal Legal employees, who are usually busy helping people reclaim mis-sold PPI and Packaged Bank Accounts, swapped focus to help Comic Relief receive donations and volunteered until midnight to answer the public’s donation calls. Managing director, Tony Shields said, “The generosity of the British public is amazing and the team at CLS are all pleased and proud to have helped make a difference to Comic Relief 2015.”
“This is becoming a long standing tradition of our business and we look forward to getting involved again in 2016”
We’d also like to thank the following companies for their donations: The Folks, Wetherspoons, Essence, Sunflower Card Shop, Waitrose, Casa Mia, Glass House, Gees Kitchen, Lower Chequer, Handy Household, Godfrey Williams, Odeon and Ian Smiths.
We were also featured on BBC Radio Stoke, talking about our fundraising activities. To listen to Managing Director Tony Shields, Team Manager, Amy Prest and Marketing Assistant, Laura Zuber talk about everything we have done, please listen below.
